Companies Going Green
Executive Transportation of Denver joins the growing list of companies going green. We are green for the benefit of the earth's environment and the city of Denver.
Our part to make this planet a better place to live and to set an example for our children to follow starts with all of us. 2006 was the doer year, no more talking about it and boasting how we were going to do our part for the good of mankind. In 2006 we became a partial owner of our office building and garages which allowed us to start the basis for workplace conservation and recycling. All organic office products are recycled which can be reused endlessly.
Non-organic disposal is always a conscious team effort. We cannot allow plastic to dictate our way of life. That must not find it's way to land fills.
Proper recycling is a top priority with our company. Solar roof top collectors are used for the building's hot water needs and have been in place for a decade. Just a few months ago our own mechanics have installed two small wind generators for supplemental electrical power in the shop. A small change but a positive step in the right direction is two luxury sedans and two luxury 4x4 SUV's that run on Flex Fuels, which can be changed from Ethanol or standard octane.
Green vehicles are the sign of the times.
We employee one mini-van for medical ambulatory services that runs on a bio selection of conventional fuel or electrical drive train power. We are going to shoot for a goal of 2010 for all vehicles to be converted to alternative fuel sources.
